Introduction to BJJ Class | Fundamentals I Class:

Intro to BJJ is designed for people with little or no experience in mind. We will be covering the basic principles and concepts of Jiu Jitsu and focusing on self defense. Although the class is not mandatory for new students, it is strongly encouraged. This class also typically has a better student to instructor ratio!

Fundamentals II Class:

This class was also designed for beginners with little or no experience. Here, they will learn the basic moves, positions, and the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. This class will help you to learn step by step techniques that are essential to build a solid game in Jiu Jitsu and covers Caio Terra’s white to blue curriculum. We believe that this class is very important and we encourage even our advanced students to review and drill these moves as often as they can. This is a Traditional Gi class and is an hour long.

No-Gi:

This “No-Gi” class is designed for beginners and advanced students and consists of basic traditional Jiu Jitsu techniques adapted to make up for the lack of a uniform to grab. Students will learn how to take down, hold down and apply joint locks to submit opponents who are not wearing a Gi. Class consists of warm-ups, technics, drilling and rolling (live training). This class is an excellent way to transition your Jiu Jitsu technics into self-defense. Students must wear shorts and a rash guard (or a t-shirt) to attend this class

Advanced Jiu-Jitsu:

This class consists of drilling moves and rolling (live training). Although it’s designed for people with more experience, we encourage the beginners to do this class as well as the Fundamentals class. This class will help you improve your competition game with advanced techniques. The use of a Gi is mandatory in this class. Usually this class begins right after a fundamentals class, and students will start class with a light warm up, rolling and working techniques towards the end of class. This class is at least an hour long and students are NOT obligated to stay the whole class.
